We’re growing our Quality and Technical team and are looking for a motivated professional Internal Technical Accountant. This team will focus on research and updates related to IFRS, GAPSME, and ISAs, with a focus on financial services, gaming, and local audit sectors.

You’ll support our teams and clients by offering expert advice on accounting standards, financial reporting, and complex transactions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Stay updated on global and local developments in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting.
• Research new and existing IFRSs and ISAs, and analyse implications for practice.
• Develop and deliver internal training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
• Draft technical consultation papers on complex transactions and accounting issues.
• Support internal teams across audit, accounting, and advisory functions.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create thought leadership pieces, including technical articles and news updates for web and social media.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar technical role, or 4 years in audit/accounting practice.
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing standards, and the key components of financial statements.
• Skilled in report writing, presentations, and clear technical communication.
• Passionate about technical excellence and the evolving standards in accounting and auditing.
• Self-motivated, analytical, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
