We’re seeking a results-oriented Senior Finance Officer (Internal) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll go beyond traditional finance, partnering with internal stakeholders to unlock value through analytics, automation, and strategic insight.
Your Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist in the expense reimbursement process by preparing relevant documentation.</li>
<li>Accurately record financial transactions and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.</li>
<li>Prepare periodic deposits of cheques/cash in line with established procedure.</li>
<li>Assist in handling client, supplier, or internal queries addressed to the finance function.</li>
<li>Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, receivables, payables, and general ledger balances</li>
<li>Process payments to the Firm's suppliers and ensure that these are issued on time and following the necessary internal procedures.</li>
<li>Generate and send periodic client invoices and account statements in accordance with established procedures, and issue ad hoc invoices as required.</li>
<li>Ensure payments to the relevant authorities, such as VAT, Social Security, Inland Revenue, etc, are issued accurately and on time.</li>
<li>Prepare VAT returns and liaise with tax authorities as required.</li>
<li>Prepare and compile monthly management accounts.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Hold an MQF level 6 in Accounting or Finance or in the process of doing the ACCA exams</li>
<li>At least 2 years of experience working in finance and/or accounting</li>
<li>Fluency in English, both written and verbal</li>
<li>Be able to use Office productivity suite and relevant IT Systems</li>

Senior Finance Officer (Internal)

Join our team as an HR Officer and play a key role in fostering a positive, supportive and people‑centred workplace.
Your Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Keep up-to-date online records for all employees and candidates.</li>
<li>Prepare the necessary data inputs and outputs for various HR administrative processes, using established templates and methodologies, but also recommending improvements.</li>
<li>Ensure documents required by employees as part of their onboarding process, are provided on time and any necessary records are updated.</li>

Your Responsibilities:

Depending on experience and academic background, successful candidates will have the opportunity to take on different tasks.

Your Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for the review of accounting transactions and the management accounts</li>
<li>Perform periodic and year-end closing journals, together with the completion and preparation of management accounts.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with auditors throughout the annual audit process.</li>
<li>Drive improvements in systems and procedures, taking proactive steps towards continuous enhancement.</li>
<li>Support junior staff members and other members of the team</li>
</ul>

Qualifications and Experience:
<ul>
<li>Holds a full qualification as an accountant or is in the final stages of completing an accountancy qualification.</li>
<li>Has a solid background in successfully handling multiple client portfolios in diverse environments.</li>
<li>Displays sound abilities in verbal and written communication, as well as building positive relationships with others.</li>
<li>Is proactive and shows the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.</li>
<li>Is fluent in English and ideally in Maltese.</li>
