Job Description

Overview

Our team is growing, and we are looking for a Payroll Specialist (Associate) who is passionate about working with clients, both local and international, across various industries.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with client personnel to facilitate completion of work and respond promptly and professionally to client requests for information
  • Follow engagement cycle processes & procedures
  • Managing payroll process for clients of medium complexity
  • Liaising with clients in relation to payroll being calculated
  • Challenging and updating information in the payroll software
  • Calculate payroll, including any necessary adjustments
  • Uploading of bank files
  • Issuing payslips
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures as necessary
  • Keep internal monitoring tools up to date

Requirements:

  • An MQF Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject or certifications in a relevant field
  • Ideally have 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Have a good understanding of the payroll function and have knowledge of the NI rates & their use, and of the tax bands
  • Be able to use the Office productivity suite and relevant IT software
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
