Overview

This long‑term internship allows a student to work closely with the audit team while continuing their studies. 

As you gain confidence and knowledge, you may take responsibility for small audits under supervision, giving you the chance to manage your own assignments from start to finish. You will also assist on other audits together with the seniors in the team, allowing you to learn directly from more experienced staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Help collect, sort and upload documents from clients, such as invoices, statements and reports.
  • Support the team when checking if financial information is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare simple notes and keep audit working papers tidy and up to date.
  • Carry out basic checks on how clients record their financial information.
  • Assist seniors during audit work, learning how different parts of the audit are performed.
  • Update files and systems regularly as you learn and take on more responsibility.
  • Perform simple analytical comparisons to identify changes or unusual results.
  • Handle day‑to‑day tasks necessary to keep the audit file complete and organised.
Requirements
  • Currently completing a Degree in Finance or undergoing ACCA examinations.

  • Good attention to detail and willingness to follow clear procedures.

  • Ability to work well in a team and ask for support when needed.

  • Comfortable using everyday computer tools such as Excel, Word and email.

  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
