Your Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal service lines to complete due diligence reviews efficiently in line with the direction of the AFC Function’s management and firm’s policies and procedures.
- Follow procedures that are established by MLRO and/or AML & Compliance Manager.
- Act as a first point of reference for interns and junior officers within the AFC Function and assist them in executing the day-to-day operations.
- Handle customer reviews with dedicated focus on High Risk Customers and more complex legal entities.
- Assist the Executive, Manager and Head within the AFC Function in the execution of the internal oversight and monitoring program of the AML/CFT controls and gauging adherence to policies and procedures.
- Analyse and draw up reports on search results and adverse media on clients or other involved parties.
- Suggest new processes and procedures with the aim of improving efficiency.
- Assist management in implementing new processes, policies and procedures.
- Train more junior team members on policies, methodologies, systems & procedures.
- Support and/or handle all KYCP updates and back end changes.
Requirements:
- Experience in due diligence reviews of legal entities and complex structures is a must.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar or compliance role.
- Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a qualification in a relevant field.
- Have knowledge of local and international AML/CFT regulations.
- An understanding or background in Regulatory Compliance and/or Risk Management is considered an asset.
- Have a good command of both English, both written and verbal.
